The next municipal election in Ontario is on Monday, October 26, 2026.
The Niagara Votes 2026 website is provided by a partnership between Niagara’s 12 local municipalities and the Niagara Region. The partnership aims to streamline communications activities to ensure candidates and electors are well informed of key dates, information and important changes related to the 2026 municipal and school board election.
On October 26, Niagara residents will vote to elect the positions of mayor, city / town councillors and school board trustees. Voting on Election Day is just one of the ways residents can vote in Niagara. Residents can visit the Niagara Votes website to see voter information, to learn about voting in Niagara, or get details about their local election by choosing their city / town.
