REACT is a youth-led advocacy group spreading awareness on the topic of mental health. Drawing on their own personal experiences, the group has identified an evident lack of mental health education in secondary schools across Ontario and aim to get mental health education into the Grade 9 Health and Physical Education Curriculum. This report describes the issue and the facts and stats within a Niagara youth context. It details REACT’s postcard campaign to promote the policy change improving the amount of mental health education in order to reduce stigma.
