As a free telephone helpline and online search service that connects inquirers to community, health, social and government services, 211 Ontario records a variety of detailed caller demographics and needs information that could be of use for policy-makers in the provincial and municipal sector.

This report summarizes data collection methodology, initial findings and a number of recommendations for improving both the utility of 211 data and the opportunities to work with potential partners to share and extend the capabilities of the data.
