Established in 1920, the Canadian Council on Social Development (CCSD) is a not-for-profit that partners and collaborates with all sectors and communities to advance solutions to some of today’s toughest social challenges. They provide an evidence-based “safe space” that facilitates open and honest dialogue among the many sectors and the public. Their flagship Community Data Program (CDP) is a gateway for municipalities and community sector organizations to a unique collection of customized data. Members access customized tables from Statistics Canada and other sources to get evidence to support sound decisions and social development programs. Offering a wealth of data products valued at over $1 million, members enjoy low cost access, training and networking.
