The Youth Reconnect Program accepts youth referrals from schools, police officers and social welfare agencies. Once a young person is referred to the program, they will meet with program staff within 48 hours, in their home communities (often at their school), to determine what their needs are, and to develop a plan to address these issues. This report details the program’s interventions, effectiveness, resource and organizational model, and key messages.
