This report was prepared by Niagara Connects to describe the Greening Niagara project: Food Security in Niagara – A Collective Approach. It provides background information about food security and describes the findings, opportunities and barriers identified at the November 12th 2015 community event. It summarizes emerging themes from two community focus groups and concludes by identifying suggested action steps arising from this collaborative work to describe food security in Niagara through the lens of environment and climate impact.
