Suicide is a serious issue in the Niagara Region. A 2011 report found that Niagara residents were ready for, and would benefit from suicide awareness programs; in particular males and young people. The SafeTALK workshops were delivered to 500 individuals who either resided, volunteered or worked in Niagara. This report summarizes the qualitative and quantitative evaluation findings from those workshops and provides recommendations for next steps.
