This report presents findings from research surveying a selection of farmers’ market managers across British Columbia over the summer of 2014. The research works to identify opportunities and barriers to providing low-income consumers access to fresh, local, healthy foods. A dominant theme emerging was collaboration: with municipalities, for-social-profit agencies, volunteers, businesses and funders, and agriculture/food organizations.
