This foundation subsidizes the cost of non-elective veterinary care such as surgery,
hospitalization and diagnostics, for the pets of families in Ontario who are struggling financially.
Together with veterinary clinics across the province, the foundation’s funding provides help
with vet bills and keeps people and pets together.
The foundation was created and is administered by the Ontario Veterinary Medical
Association. This allows the foundation to work with more than 80 per cent of vet clinics in the
province. The foundation helps any animal whose primary purpose is companionship; there
are no species restrictions.
Since 2022 the Farley Foundation has helped more than 17,700 pets in Ontario.
