‘Local Impact, Lasting Change. Together, we can build stronger communities for everyone’ is the theme of United Way Golden Horseshoe’s (UWGH) 2025-2026 Impact Report. The UWGH was formed April 1, 2026 when the United Way organizations in Niagara, Brant, Haldimand Norfolk, and Hamilton and Halton merged.

Together, in 2025-2026, the merged organization raised over $18 million to help strengthen communities across the Golden Horseshoe. In Niagara, a total of 139,497 people were supported; 44 agencies were funded; and 87 programs and projects were supported. Across the Golden Horseshoe, a total of 440,000+ people were helped; 148 agencies were supported; and 235 programs were supported.

The UWGH has three strategic areas of investment: Poverty to Possibility; All That Kids Can Be; and Healthy People, Strong Communities.
