Join Brock University for a free thoughtful, practical session on sexual well-being as we age – an important (and often overlooked) part of overall health and quality of life. This session is designed for community members, practitioners, students, and researchers who want to better support healthy aging – whether in their own lives or in their work with older adults.
Presented by Dr. Richard Hughes, this talk uses a respectful, research-informed ergonomic approach to help match the physical demands of intimacy with the strength, flexibility, balance, and comfort of both partners. Dr. Hughes will introduce basic principles of biomechanics and apply them to real-life questions, including common age-related conditions such as arthritis, as well as hip precautions following total hip replacement.
The session will include time for Q&A.
This event is free and open to the public, but registration is required. Register Here
