SUMMARY:Neighbourhood Micro Grants - City of St. Catharines Deadline
DESCRIPTION:The Neighbourhood Micro Grants pilot project seeks to support grassroots initiatives within the City of St. Catharines that aim to improve the social\, economic\, and cultural well-being of local neighbourhoods. \nAll projects supported through this program must be free and accessible\, hosted at a city-owned park or facility\, and be either a one-time event or a series of events taking place within a maximum of a one-month period. \nApproved applicants may be awarded between $500 and $1\,500 per project. The grant awarded to each applicant is at the discretion of the Special Event Fee Reduction Task Force. \nHow to Apply \nApplications for projects taking place between June 1\, 2026\, and Nov. 30\, 2026\, will be accepted from Jan. 1\, 2026\, to March 31\, 2026 \nApply beginning Jan. 1\, 2026: https://www.stcatharines.ca/en/applications-licences-and-permits/neighbourhood-micro-grants.aspx

DESCRIPTION:Each year\, BCM Insurance allocates funds to give back to the local community\, aiming to create positive social\, environmental\, and economic impacts. Our goal is to help build sustainable\, livable\, and thriving communities throughout Niagara. \n140+ years in the Niagara Region.\nWith over 140 years operating in the Niagara Region\, BCM has a strong understanding of the territory. We are committed to supporting deserving projects and organizations\, helping them achieve their missions\, and continuing to do great work for the region’s future. \nFor the 2026 grant year\, BCM Insurance is offering $50\,000 in total funding. BCM will offer $5\,000 to ten (10) organizations who meet the eligibility requirements. We welcome anyone who is looking to relax and have fun! \nEnjoy a fun and relaxing afternoon of painting\, and enjoy some snacks\, refreshments\, and good company! Instructor Laurie will guide us through an interactive painting session\, and you will be able to take home your masterpiece at the end. No experience required – all materials are provided.
