It invites writers from the Niagara region in Ontario\, Canada to submit up to two\, unpublished poems (in English or French) on themes related to sustainability until February 14\, 2026 at 5 p.m. \nThis year’s theme is International Year of Volunteers for Sustainable Development\, providing an opportunity to highlight the work of volunteers to advance sustainability. \nWinners will be announced in time for the UNESCO World Poetry Day Celebration on March 23\, 2026\, and all poets (and members of the community) are invited to attend the free Poetry Day Celebration to mark the day. \nSubmission Categories: Elementary Student; High School Student; College/University Student; General Public. \n*One prize will be awarded in each of the four categories.
