DESCRIPTION:The Canadian population is aging rapidly\, making it imperative that our communities are ready to support the well-being and inclusion of older adults. As our collective attention is increasingly fragmented\, we aim to: \n\nHighlight how age-friendly work fits into big picture conversations; and\nEnable attendees to strategically incorporate age-friendly talking points into their conversations.\n\nAttendees will leave with a culture shift – an ability to leverage broader policy or structural level priorities to align with and further local age-friendly initiatives. \nThis event will integrate lived experience\, research\, and practice-based evidence to support age-friendly development. Niagara Region does not offer or provide taxi services directly. We issue business licenses for taxis\, including accessible taxis. Your feedback will help us understand the need for accessible taxis and will guide planning for private accessible taxis. \nWe want to hear from you if: \n\nYou have a disability and use or have used accessible taxis\nYou are a caregiver to someone with a disability who has used accessible taxis\nYou operate or have operated private taxicabs\, including accessible taxicabs\n\nThis online survey will take about 3 minutes to complete.
