Working with Hard to Reach Clients

July 2, 2020 @ 2:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Institute for Advancements in Mental Health

As frontline workers, effective and meaningful engagement is key to establishing a therapeutic alliance with your clients, and for clients experiencing psychosis, this can present a unique set of challenges. Learning more about psychosis, and how signs and symptoms present, provides a framework for successful engagement. Presented by Alyssa Hirij, this session will provide information about how to build a working relationship and the importance of intake; as well as cover support strategies and how to work with clients effectively.

This webinar is presented by Empowering Community Minds, a new collective formed as part of a community-based pandemic response to empower, support, and enable solutions for mental health and social challenges affecting individuals and families.
