Understand how technology and the growth of data has become an almost essential tool in our society. Learn how we can benefit in many aspects of our lives from these advances, and how to protect ourselves, especially our digital privacy.

This series will start with guest presenters who can give us a broad overview of the nature of big data, introducing basic background information and providing an overview of the benefits and new opportunities that have materialized. Guest presenters will also be focusing on emerging challenges with privacy and security and strategies to protect ourselves in this new digital era.

This series is taking place every Thursday in November from 10am until 12pm at the Niagara College campus in Welland. Join us with knowledgeable and dynamic guest speakers, interesting dialogue and familiar faces.

This series is hosted by Third Age Learning Niagara.
