The Re-imagining Health Symposium presented by Brock University is a collaborative and catalyzing event that will bring together health-focused researchers, practitioners, educators, health industry leaders, and policy makers to discuss the future of health care.

This exciting symposium has been designed very differently than traditional research conferences to highlight current evidence-based practices, and the promising-practices of today and tomorrow.

Experts will present to health professionals on specific tangible skills that those in attendance will be able to take back to their workplaces as new parts of their skill sets.

Keynote presentations by:

  • Dr. Zayna Kayat, Future Strategist at SE Health
  • Dr. Mustafa Hirji, Acting Medical Officer of Health and Commissioner Public Health Niagara Region

Capacity-building workshops will focus on a variety of topics such as:

  • knowledge translation
  • Indigenous health
  • healthy-communities
  • data in healthcare
  • new medical technologies

As the first event of its kind at Brock University, the Re-imagining Health Symposium is expected to draw a large and diverse audience with varying interests in the health field.
