Education Topic: IT Challenges Faced By Organizations and Understanding a Move To The Cloud

Presenter: Joan Navin-Barber of Venture 2000 and Glen Walker of Positive Living Niagara

In this session we will examine the challenges faced by managing with an in-house server and data system and the move to cloud based services.

Joan Navin-Barker, the president of Venture 2000, will talk to the challenges and benefits of transition into the cloud from the perspective of cost benefits to the organization and changes in hardware needs. She will also talk to the costing and benefits to organizations from an IT perspective.

We will also explore the reasons to transition, impacts on staff and how the transition has impacted operations. This interactive workshop will look at what challenges your agency is trying to tackle and discuss how a cloud based system could meet those needs.
