Climate Change and Canadians: New Public Opinion Research by EcoAnalytics

February 14, 2018 @ 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm
Sustainability Network

As floods and wildfires become more frequent and fearsome, and climate action finds its way into federal policy, are Canadians’ beliefs and attitudes about climate change, and how to address it, changing? What do they really think about carbon pricing? And what are the most powerful narrative frames for engaging them on this all important issue?

This webinar presented by the Université de Montréal’s Dr. Erick Lachapelle and James Boothroyd will touch on answers to some of these questions, informed by results and analysis of EcoAnalytics’ latest Climate of Change Survey (October 2017).

  • Erick Lachapelle, EcoAnalytics Research Partner is an Associate Professor of Political Science, at the Université de Montréal.
  • James Boothroyd, ManagingDirector, EcoAnalytics, is a communications specialist and social entrepreneur with deep experience in building coalitions and campaigns in the public health and environmental sectors.

This webinar is hosted by the Sustainability Network.
