SUMMARY:Ontario Trillium Foundation Youth Opportunities Fund - Youth Innovations and Family Innovations Grant application deadline
DESCRIPTION:The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) Youth Opportunities Fund (YOF) invests in community-led projects that play an essential role in creating safe spaces\, empowering youth and families\, supporting career pathways and addressing issues faced by our communities. \nYOF prioritizes grassroots groups that are looking to address the experiences of Indigenous (First Nation\, Metis or Inuit) and/or Black youth who continue to face systemic barriers and oppression. \nSupporting grassroots groups and community-based collaboratives led by people who share identities\, lived experiences and who face the same systemic barriers as those who will benefit from their projects is integral to YOF’s funding priorities. Projects led by and for communities play a key role in developing solutions that are tailored to the needs of communities and providing appropriate support for those with similar experiences. \nInvestments made through YOF extend beyond project funding. Grant recipients receive capacity building support to learn and grow through specialized coaching and mentorship. \nWhether your group wants to pilot a new project or expand an existing one\, YOF offers a range of grants that may be the right fit for your group.

SUMMARY:Sound Bath Meditation
DESCRIPTION:Join us each month as we connect with community partners for interactive workshops that promote positive brain health\, meaningful connections\, and well-being. \nSound bath meditations are a sacred and intentional journey—an ancient practice where sound\, frequency\, and vibration invite deep nourishment and inner alignment in. \nDuring this session\, Melaina intuitively leads you through a meditative experience rooted in breath and presence. With calm awareness\, she invites you to soften\, release the weight of the day\, and attune to the quiet wisdom of the subtle body. As layers of sound flow through\, energy begins to move—gently dissolving tension\, unlocking the subconscious\, and clearing outdated thought patterns. Together\, we enter a shared field of stillness and ease\, where harmony arises—not as something sought\, but as something remembered. \nRegister by calling our office at 905-687-3914 or visit us online at http://www.alzheimerniagara.ca/caregiverwellness

DESCRIPTION:Fly high with us for our first-ever fundraiser for Quest Community Health Centre on Saturday September 13\, 2025 \nProceeds from New Heights will directly support Quest CHC’s programs such as our Seasonal Agricultural Worker Healthcare Program (SAWHP). This innovative program delivers accessible\, culturally responsive healthcare to migrant farmworkers across Niagara—many of whom face language\, transportation\, and systemic barriers to care.
