SUMMARY:Preserving Niagara in Nature\, Forever
DESCRIPTION:Niagara Land Trust invites you to: Preserving Nature in Niagara\, Forever\, on Sunday\, June 21\, 2026\, at 3:30 pm (doors open at 3:00 pm). \nThis free public event will explore a bold\, greener vision for the future of the Niagara Peninsula — one rooted in conservation and the protection of our most important natural spaces. If you care about preserving forests\, wetlands\, and wild places in Niagara\, this is an event not to miss. \nFeatured speaker Adam Shoalts\, Ph.D. – explorer and national bestselling author\, described by the Toronto Star as “Canada’s Indiana Jones” and by CBC as “one of the greatest living explorers” — will share compelling stories and images from his expeditions. From paddling 3\,400 km from Lake Erie to the Arctic to exploring some of the most remote landscapes in North America\, Shoalts will connect his experiences in the wild to the importance of protecting natural spaces here at home. \nLooking forward to seeing you then. All welcome!
