DESCRIPTION:The Canadian Caregiving Summit\, hosted by the Canadian Centre for Caregiving Excellence (CCCE)\, brings together lived experience experts\, leaders\, policy makers\, and researchers across the age\, disability\, and illness communities to work together to build the foundation of a national caregiving strategy. \nThe Summit will explore 4 topic areas:\n– Healthcare\n– Social & Community Care\n– Care Workforce\n– Work Education & Care. \nThe 4 topic areas will be explored through the lens of all those who provide care\, including experiences of and barriers faced by of those in LGBTQ+\, Indigenous and racialized communities. \n
