The Governance Partners Program (GPP) was launched by the Niagara Community Foundation in 2016. This program helps registered charities identify their strengths and challenges they are facing in governance and management, and to provide expertise and resources to help charities improve their practices.

Strong governance is about:

  • Board leadership, oversight, policies and processes
  • Financial accountability and transparency
  • Fundraising strategy and donor relationships
  • Staff management
  • Volunteer involvement

Do you wish you had additional support and resources to reduce risk and strengthen your charity’s performance in any of these areas?

GPP can help you access a matching grant for a Certified Governance Consultant to work with you on your governance priorities.

Invite a GPP Consultant to your next board or committee meeting to provide a complimentary information session.

Interested? Please contact GPP Co-ordinator, Gay Douglas, at 905-835-2446 or gay.douglas@niagaracommunityfoundation.org
