The Niagara Funders’ Alliance is a partnership of private, public and corporate sector funders who work collaboratively for the well-being of the community by sharing knowledge and information related to community resources, needs, priorities and trends. These sector-specific Funders’ Roundtable Sessions will be hosted by multiple funders and will provide you information regarding their funding priorities, how to apply, etc. There is no cost, please register for each session you wish to attend. The Investment Readiness Program (IRP) is a new opportunity funded by the Government of Canada and administered through community foundations for social enterprises to launch, design, measure and scale their organization or project to get ready to access social financing. The Niagara Community Foundation is hosting an Investment Readiness Program (IRP) Information Session to offer more details about applying and answer questions about the program. To RSVP, please email joanne.krick@niagaracommunityfoundation.org. Who qualifies? You may qualify if your organization is mission-driven, aiming to sell goods or services to earn revenue while also helping achieve positive social, cultural or environmental objectives. Specifically, charities, non-profit organizations, co-ops and businesses with a social impact may all qualify. Eligibility details: Eligible organizations can receive $10,000 to $100,000 in non-repayable funds to develop, design, measure and scale their social enterprises in order to get ready to accept investments. The IRP can assist organizations at any stage, from refining an idea to scaling up and preparing for investments. The IRP is open to social purpose organizations including charities, non-profits, co-operatives, and for-profit business with a social impact. This session is hosted by the Niagara Community Foundation.
