Google Analytics for Online Fundraising @ Online
Oct 17 @ 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm

Google Analytics is a powerful tool for understanding what’s working, and what’s not, with your online projects. It can also be used as a tool for online fundraising. If your organization has a website, as well as a web page that accepts donations, chances are it is already tracked with Google Analytics.

But are you getting any insights from this powerful tool? Google Analytics generates a lot of ‘vanity metrics’ that give an illusion of progress, but don’t help you get better online results. It can also be overwhelming, filled with jargon and strange numbers that don’t make a lot of sense.

A second webinar on October 19th will take a more in-depth look at Google Analytics.

This webinar is hosted by the Sustainability Network.

Breakfast & Learn: Plan the Work/Work the Plan – Reducing Costs by Leveraging 3D Scanning Technology in Industrial Applications @ Niagara College - Walker Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Centre, Room IC209
Oct 18 @ 8:00 am – 11:00 am

As-built documentation is crucial to the development, planning and refurbishment of industrial sites and facilities. But the challenge for existing assets is the ability to turn decades’ worth of operational information and experience from various sources and systems into ‘applicable information’.

As-built documents are often incomplete, or outdated and hence unreliable. Currency and accuracy of data is critical in design environments involving:

  • Aging Infrastructure
  • MEC Interference Co-ordination
  • Brownfield Facility Refurbishment
  • Maintenance Shut-downs
  • Strategic Facility Planning

Come hear how sophisticated data acquisition technology, such as 3D Laser Scanning, can reduce your production schedule, minimize risks and improve operational efficiency.

This session is hosted by Niagara College Research & Innovation.
